Tabletop Games

I’ve been playing Dungeons & Dragons since I was six. At the time, it was AD&D – since then, I’ve gone through 2E, 3E, 3.5E, Pathfinder, 4E, and now 5E. Currently, I’m involved in 2 different 5E games (one of which I’m GMing), and one FATE game. If you haven’t tried FATE, you should. Below is a sampling of systems I’ve played.

RPG Systems

  • OD&D
  • AD&D
  • D&D 3E/3.5/Pathfinder
  • D&D 4E
  • D&D 5E
  • FATE
  • Savage Worlds
  • Call of Cthulhu
  • Deadlands
  • Alternity

I also play a lot of board games. I will try anything, but I gravitate toward coop. Here are a few of my favs.

Computer Games

I’ve been playing computer games and console games since I first picked up a Nintendo controller in 1986. I’m a huge fan of the Zelda series, and original Final Fantasy games (up through VI). When we got our first computer, my father got us “Eye of the Beholder,” and that opened up the world of computer RPGs. Then when Heretic came out, that brought me to the more creative side of FPSs. I will always happily try new games, but there are some games I just keep coming back to. For instance, I still play Diablo 2, even though Diablo 3 is out (which is also a good game). I have re-played through Heretic recently, and I have never really stopped playing Baldur’s Gate. Here’s a list of some games I like.

Computer Games/Series

  • Borderlands/Borderlands 2
  • Diablo 2/Diablo 3
  • Baldur’s Gate
  • Metroid Series
  • Zelda Series
  • Starcraft
  • DDO
  • Final Fantasy I – VI
  • Dungeon of the Endless
